Welcome to a new month inside the Modern Rag Doll Membership. I am so glad you are here and ready to begin sewing the Bramble Doll. Bramble is a gentle, thoughtful doll designed to be enjoyable to make and comforting to hold once finished.

Bramble is part of the Thimbelina Doll Collection and is shown using fabrics from the Thimbelina fabric collection. His soft details and simple styling tie beautifully into the rest of the collection.

This pattern works well when sewn in small sessions and returned to throughout the month.

About the Bramble Doll

The Bramble Doll is an in the hoop pattern that includes multiple size options, all created using the same clear construction steps. This makes it easy to choose the size that works best for your time and your embroidery machine.

As you sew Bramble, you will work through fabric placement, trimming, turning, and shaping. Taking your time with these steps helps the doll come together smoothly and gives him a soft, finished feel. Watching the video alongside the written instructions can be especially helpful as you move through assembly and hair details.

Fabric Kit Option

This month we are introducing a new optional subscription called the Modern Rag Doll Fabric Only Doll Kit Subscription. These fabric kits are curated to coordinate with the Doll of the Month and include enough fabric to make the largest size doll, so you can create any size included in the pattern.

The kits are fabric only and do not include patterns, stabilizers, or thread. You will still download the Bramble Doll pattern here inside the membership.
