About the Daydream Kite

The Daydream Kite finishes at approximately 24" × 76" , making it a beautiful decorative piece for a child’s room, reading corner, or creative space.

The design includes a pieced kite top, followed by layering and quilting, and finished with a ribbon tail and fabric bows.

It is a beginner-friendly project that allows you to build confidence while creating something a little different from traditional sewing projects.

The kite is made using prints from the  A Spoonful of Sugar fabric collection by Jennifer Long for Riley Blake Designs, which adds a soft, storybook feel.

Simple Ways to Make It Your Own

This is a project that can easily be personalized.

You can adjust your fabric choices, add decorative stitching, or include embellishments like buttons or ribbons to give your kite its own unique look.
