Hush Hush 5: My Block Goes Live Today

Paper Dolls: Elowyn & Forest

Today is my block release day for Hush Hush 5, and I’m so excited to share my design, Paper Dolls: Elowyn & Forest. This block can be made in both 6-inch and 12-inch sizes, making it easy to mix and match within your quilt.

Hush Hush 5 is a special collection from Riley Blake Designs created by a group of 21 designers. Each of us contributed a low-volume print, which means a soft, subtle fabric designed to blend beautifully with other prints while adding texture and warmth. My print, called Foraging, features tiny berries and leaves that reflect my storytelling style in a gentle, versatile way.

The theme for this year’s Hush Hush Sew Along is Strength in Every Stitch, a celebration of creativity, perseverance, and community. My Paper Dolls: Elowyn & Forest block fits this theme by reminding us that creativity and connection can bring comfort through the process of making.
