Nutcracker Felt Panel Sew-Along: Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of the Nutcracker Felt Panel Sew-Along!

We have made it to our final week, and now it is time for Finishing Touches & Storytime Magic.

This week we will finish the Nutcracker House Story Playmat and Tote so all of your characters have a place to play, travel, and be tucked away when storytime is done.

This Week’s Goal

Start by preparing the handles and bag pieces.

Once those are ready, you will layer the outside and inside sections, position the handles, and stitch everything together.

You will also add the fold line through the centre so the playmat can fold neatly into a tote.

For the closure, you can use snaps or Velcro, whichever works best for you.

Then comes the fun part. Add any final details you would like, tuck your finished characters inside, and your Nutcracker Felt Panel project is complete.
