Thimbelina Storybook SAL: Week 4 Finish the Soft Book

Welcome to Week 4 of the Thimbelina Storybook Panel Sew Along. This is the final week of the project, and now your pages are ready for the finishing steps that turn them into a complete soft book.

This week you will attach the cover, secure the page stack, and add any final topstitching or pressing to give your book a polished look. The soft book will begin to feel sturdy and ready for little hands to open, read, and enjoy.

This Week You Will:

• Attach the cover to the page stack
  • Sew the final seam along the spine
  • Topstitch or press as noted in your instructions
  • Shape and smooth the finished book

Take your time and enjoy this final stage. It is a wonderful moment when the project becomes something that can be held and shared. When your book is complete, we would love to see it.
