Get ready for some holiday fun because this week’s block is full of personality. The Reindeer Games Block brings a dashing reindeer to life, complete with antlers, a red nose, and a patchwork blanket that adds charm and warmth.

This block has several detailed units, so take your time and enjoy the process. It’s the most intricate block so far, but it's also the one that really starts to reveal the story behind this quilt.

Tips for Tackling This Week

• Break it into sections. Focus on one part of the reindeer at a time. You’ll build the head, legs, antlers, stars, and blanket separately before assembling the full block.
  
• Mind your layout. Use the diagrams in the pattern to help keep track of unit placement and direction. Laying it out before sewing can prevent mistakes.
  
• Double check your seam allowance. Small differences can add up in a block like this, so consistent seams are key to a clean finish.
  

When complete, the Reindeer Games Block should measure 19 1/2” x 22 1/2” (unfinished).
